Private Tanzania Safaris
Every itinerary we run is private by default — not an upgrade, not a add-on. Your own vehicle, your own guide, and a route that moves at your pace.
"Private safari" gets used loosely across the industry to mean anything from a dedicated vehicle to a fully bespoke route. At Elleme it means the same thing on every single itinerary: you are not joined into a shared vehicle with other travellers, your guide is assigned to your trip specifically rather than rotating between groups, and the day's plan — what time you leave, how long you stay at a sighting, whether you skip a stop — is yours to change.
This isn't a pricing tier above a cheaper shared-group option. We don't run shared-group departures at all, so every route below, and every other itinerary in the full tour list, is built the same way.

Private Tanzania Safaris, answered directly
There's no group-tour option to compare against here — every Elleme itinerary is private, so the price you see already reflects a dedicated vehicle and guide, not an add-on over a cheaper shared departure.
Yes — within reason. Since the vehicle and guide are yours for the trip, decisions like staying an extra hour at a sighting or adjusting the next day's route are made in the field, not against a fixed group schedule.
Most of our vehicles are set up for two to six guests. Larger families or groups are usually split across two vehicles that travel together, so nobody loses the private, unshared experience.
