Draft — last updated November 2026, pending legal review
This is a draft privacy policy, written to the structure the site specification requires. It has not been reviewed by legal counsel and must not be published in this form — Elleme Africa Safaris should have a qualified lawyer confirm it against actual data practices before this page goes live.
What we collect
Information submitted through the inquiry form (name, email, travel dates, traveller count, interests and your message), an email address if you subscribe to the newsletter, and standard web analytics if and when an analytics tool is added (see the note on analytics below).
Why we collect it
To respond to your inquiry, plan your itinerary if you book with us, and — only if you opt in separately — to send occasional newsletter updates about migration timings and camp openings.
How long we keep it
Inquiry details are kept for as long as needed to respond and, if you book, for the duration of your trip planning and a reasonable period after for record-keeping. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
Who else sees it
The form handler that delivers your inquiry to our inbox, our email provider for the newsletter, and — only once one is chosen — an analytics provider. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@ellemeafricasafaris.com.
Cookies
This site does not currently use cookies for advertising. If analytics are added, this section will be updated to name the provider and, if required, a cookie consent banner will be added at the same time.
